AGONA EAST NPP SENDS STRONG WARNING TO THE MP FOR THE CONSTITUENCY.

The chairman of AGONA EAST NPP, MR. DESMOND ESSANDOH, has cautioned the MP for the Constituency, HON. QUEENSTER POKUA SAWYER, to desist from the unparliamentary activities she is engaged in by removing PROF KWESI YANKAH and NANA ADDO’s posters from vantage points within the Constituency.

According to him, these activities which started a month ago resulted in the arrest of one person who confirmed that he was asked by the MP to remove such posters. The case is currently before AGONA SWEDRU MAGISTRATE COURT pending judgement.

The chairman expressed shock at the MP’s subsequent confession of being the mastermind of the removal of the posters through an interview on GOLDEN STAR FM at AGONA SWEDRU.

He has therefore called on NDC leadership at the Constituency, the National level and the Ex – President MAHAMA, to proffer some form of counselling to the MP else, the NPP as a party in the Constituency will advice itself as an entity

He asserted that the NPP Youth in the Constituency can equally be mobilized to carry out the same activities the MP is engaged in but the character of the Parliamentary Candidate for the NPP party in Agona East, PROF KWESI YANKAH does not support such lawlessness. The NPP Parliamentary Candidate is a symbol of peace and will want the peace of the Constituency to remain undented. The same peace the Constituency has enjoyed since the fourth republic, under the leadership of HON. KOJO YANKAH, HON. JOHN KWESI AGYABENG and HON. ADU YEBOAH serving the good people of agona east.

The NPP Parliamentary Candidate, Prof. Kwesi Yankah has always advised members to follow the rule of law and has assured that the matter currently before the Swedru Magistrate court will be pursued to the latter and that there will be no stone left unturned in ensuring that perpetrators are dealt with in accordance with electoral laws.

The chairman added that, PROF KWESI YANKAH, is an epitome of peace but when the oppressions from the woman becomes extreme, the party may not be in the capacity to control the youth in that direction, the result of which may be bad for the Constituency.

He also asked the MP to respect the office she is occupying for her to be accorded with same respect by her constituents.
