PRESS STATEMENT FROM CONCERNED YOUTH OF AGONA EAST- NPP
The concern Youth of NPP- agona east Constituency wish to express its sincerest appreciation to the President of the Republic of Ghana H.E Dr. NANA ADDO DANKWA AKUFO ADDO for Appointing Hon. Janet Odei Paintsil as the District Chief Executive for Agona East district.
Hon. Janet Odei Paintsil’s nomination is a clear attestation of the President’s commitment and belief in the capacity of the youth and women empowerment.
Hon. Janet’s appointment is a major wake up call to the entire structure of the party to adher to hardwork and dedication to the party. Since the inception of Democracy, no woman from the stronghold of the NPPin agona east (Agona Kwanyako) has been appointed as DCE or even a presiding member until Nana Addo, who has made this historic day a memorable one for every youth in the constituency . It is in this regard that we the youth of Agona east will forever be grateful to the president.
Though the people of Agona east did not vote for the parliamentary candidate, the efforts of the Youth and parliamentary candidate (Prof. Yankah) maximized the votes of the president in the constituency. This appointment is a clear demonstration of the president’s love for the youth and people of Agona east.
We wish to assure you Mr. President that, we the youth of Agona East shall rally behind your government and work hard to win the Constituency for the New patriotic party come 2024 and beyond.
