After close to three decades of agitation and complains over the lack of National Film Authority, government will tomorrow, December 20, 2019 finally inaugurate the setting up of the authority.

This comes after players in the film industry stormed the streets of Accra to express their displeasure at the delays in setting up the authority.

However information reaching thepublisheronline.com indicates, the government of Ghana has made necessary steps for the establishment of the authority before the year ends.

The formation of the National Film Authority is in accordance with Section 4 (1), (2) of the Development and Classification of Film, 2016 (Act 935).
