An Important Step
The National Film Authority is happy to announce a key milestone as Honorable Barbara Oteng Gyasi inaugurates the Film Classification Committee and appoints Socrates Sarfo as the Chairman of the Committee
The Film Classification Committee is mandated by law as the committee responsible for the classification of all audiovisual materials such as films , documentary adverts and all materials intended for public view
The Classification Commitee is a key mandate under the NFA and we urge all filmmakers,broadcasters ,exhibitors , industry stakeholders and the general public to welcome this important step.
