William Amponsah Grabs Another Opportunity To Run In The UK.
William Amponsah one of the finest long distance runners in Africa showed a phenomenal performance at the just ended Commonwealth Games at Birmingham, United Kingdom. The young lad broke his personal best records. His performance brought many athletic lovers to celebration on social media accross the Motherland Ghana.
The Agona Swedru base runner has gone through great improvement under Team Daakye the management team he belongs.
Just yesterday, Mr Robin Todd the British sport consultant and a technical advisor to William Amponsah made a refreshing tweet to announce another event coming up for the young champion.
Robin Todd writes;
In partnership with AthleticsGhana we have secured William Amponsah an Elite place at the Great North Run in Newcastle, UK on 11th September. This is the world’s largest Half Marathon with over 60,000 runners. William will be the first ever Ghanaian Elite to run the GNR.

And he affirmed that this is just the beginning of William Amponsah’s running carrier. He is working very hard with his affiliated running club Royston running club in UK.
