Gospel musician Celestine Donkor is apparently disappointed by the decision of organizers of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards not to nominate her for the Best Collaboration category.

The gospel artiste says she was utterly shocked when she read her ‘Agbebolo’ song, which featured youngster Nhyiraba Gideon did not get nomination in that category.

Speaking to Mzgee on 3FM, Celestine Donkor argued that her song enjoyed massive a time play both locally and internally, therefore, could not comprehend why it was omitted from the above category.

The musician, who was clearly peeved by the decision, further took to her Instagram page to vent her spleen.

She wrote, “Dear VGMA, I do appreciate 5 nominations for # Agbebolo. But I’m really surprised this song didn’t pass for Best Collabo. Is it because Nhyiraba Gideon is a child?” she asked.

Meanwhile, Celestine Donkor received 5 nominations with her new single Agbebolo at the VGMA’s final nominations event which was held in Accra last weekend.
