UNAUTHORIZED DEMOLITION OF SCHOOL STRUCTURE AT AGONA NANTIFA IN AGONA EAST DISTRICT

The Member of Parliament for Agona East, Queenstar Pokua , has supervised and superintended over an illegal demolition of a basic school structure in Agona East.

The incident occurred at Agona Nantifa in the Agona East District of the Central Region.
According to our investigations, the MP is seeking to construct an astroturf facility and as a result, intend to demolish a government structure nearby.
The demolition exercise has started with the removal of the roofing sheets on the classroom structures at Nantifa AEDA Basic School.
People in the area are shocked at the gesture of the former Deputy Central Regional Minister who doubles as the MP.
Our checks also confirm that both the District Chief Executive of Agona East, Hon Dennis Armah-Frimpong, and District Director of Education, Mrs. Vida Amoah, are both not aware of the demolition exercise.
It is so obvious that the MP is seeking to score only a political point by such illegal demolition exercise.
