K PROF. YANKAH SHAKES THE STRONGHOLD OF THE NDC WITH A HISTORIC HEALTH WALK.

The insistent call by the electorates of Agona East to vote against a touted “Rice and Oil NDC MP” for a development oriented Professor Kwesi Yankah was once again brought to the fore on the lips of everybody who graced an electrifying health walk in once upon a time the stronghold of the NDC.
This was after an estimated 3,000 strong crowd poured on the streets of Kwansakrom and kotokoli Zongo in the Agona East Constituency Sunday evening when Prof. Yankah, the parliamentary candidate of the NPP embarked on what was ordinarily planned to be a casual health walk to promote a healthy living in the midst of Covid.
The scenes on the streets of Kwansakrom Kotokoli zongo on Sunday can be juxtaposed to a constituency rally where people from all corners of the constituency gather to identify with the party. However, this crowd was not organized and bussed; they poured out from their homes within the ELECTORAL AREA to be specific to join the aspiring Member of parliament PROF. YANKAH.
They were in ecstatic and frenzy mood and intermittently seemed as if they had been possessed by some supernatural spirits which created an immune booster for them as they never got tired dancing to the tunes., Clapping and jogging.
Prof. Yankah who wore a uniquely crafted hat with branded NPP colours, was himself caught in the euphoria with a Prophetic dance from the learned man himself. Prof’s submissive and respectable demeanor created an exciting atmosphere for the crowd to associate very well with him.
Out of shock when the crowd gathered at Kwansakrom park Prof. Yankah quizzed
” Is this the so called Strong hold of the NDC?”; the crowd in direct response responded Yes but we have seen the light.
This is understandable because a good number of projects under the current administration through the lobbying skills of Prof. Yankah have been initiated in the electoral area such as;
Completion of an Ultramodern six unit classroom block in Kwansakrom
Construction of Ultramodern toilet facility at Kwansakrom, asphalting of Swedru Senior high school Internal roads in addition to eight ongoing and finished projects, electrification projects, Scholarships for students, massive recruitment of the youth into Forestry, education, Youth Employment etc.
Prof. Reiterated his commitment to ensuring that all dark places in the Electoral area are fixed with street lights. By this promise, he charged the leadership of the entire Community to by the end of the following day Monday follow up for the streets lights to be fixed in the entire electoral area.
Prof. Yankah ended with a peace message to all constituents not to allow any selfish politician to take the youth for granted, exaggerate their issues, dramatize it and ride on them to make personal gains; rather let’s Vote in peace for a development oriented Professor and NANA Addo to continue Free SHS.
