King Promise Sets Record With 24 Million Streams On Spotify

Ghanaian vocalist, King Promise has become the first Ghanaian artiste with over 24 million streams on Spotify.

The album which was released in July 2019 has become the album to beat, with more numbers than ‘Sugar’ by KiDi, ‘Black Love’ by Sarkodie and ‘Wonder Boy’ by Shatta Wale all released in the same year.

This was made known in a tweet by ‘Unorthodox Reviews’ which is a blog with a reply from King Promise; “I usually don’t share things like this but this post is to appreciate you the fans because you did it.”

Also, the ‘As Promised’ album has surpassed 60 million streams on major digital platforms including Apple Music, Deezer, YouTube, Spotify and Boomplay.
