bigBen to debut My Killa featuring Camidoh
After the success of his EP titled Swings and Blu3s released early this year, the fast-rising Nigerian artist teams up with Ghanaian “Sugarcane” hit maker Camidoh and delivers a soft slow tempo melodious Afropop single titled “My Killa” produced by Ghanaian record producer Beatz Vampire. It’s a song that focuses on how a guy is trying to wow a lady by expressing his love for her.
This release is just a simple romantic song designed for everyone.
“My Killa” is a song written during a tutorial session, a friend wanted to see how bigBen works so she was invited to come to the studio to witness the creative part of bigBen.
The sound describes a perfect example of the versatility of bigBen who has the ability to switch his sound from Afrobeats or Afrofusion to Afropop or Afroswing. bigBen was able to lyrically express his desire to love and his willingness to do whatever it takes to get love reciprocated.
The hardworking young artist who has so far collaborated with some of the biggest names in Afrobeats from Stonebwoy, M. anifest, Bisa Kdei and also the likes of Teephlow, Edem and Sista Afia is hoping his latest body of work would catapult him into the stardom that he so desires.
“My Killa” comes a music video which was shot in London and directed by Eats Media is scheduled for September 23rd. With the presence of Camidoh on the single, bigBen hopes to tap into Camidoh’s fan base as well as creating a lane for himself. There is no slowing down for Harmony Music Group frontier bigBen this year. I hope you guys enjoy it as much as we do.
