.Bernard Oduro Nyarko,a strong contender in the new patriotic party NPP parliamentary race in Takoradi constituency inside the western region has submitted his nomination forms as a step towards leading the party in the December 2020 election.
Bernard Oduro Nyarko would be contesting the incumbent member of parliament, Mr Agyapa Mercer who is seeking for the NPP primaries on April 25.
He told his jubilant supporters including some of the delegates after submitting the forms at Takoradi constituency that he would defeat the incumbent MP and go ahead to retain the seat for NPP.
According to him,the incumbent MP had failed to champion for adequate development projects for the area as a results ,the constituents were calling for a change.
He urged his Supporters to continue to campaign vigorously for him but stressed that it should be based on issues and track records and must be devoid of insults,personal attacks and name calling.
