SKY GEE BAG’S 3 NOMINATIONS AT THIS YEAR’S WEST AKIM YOUTH AWARDS
The name Sky Gee obviously rings a bell in Ghana especially the Central Region where he is from, Eastern Rigion where he is based and in Accra which is considered the heart of Ghana’s entertainment.
He won in two categories last year at the maiden edition of WAA and still holds the position as the ARTISTE OF THE YEAR.
The West Akim Youth Awards is currently the most prestigious district awarding event in tge Eastern Region with the mission to celebrate the achievements of young people in their district.
This year, Sky Gee is nominated in three categories namely, ARTISTE OF YEAR, HIGHLIFE ARTISTE, and MUSIC VIDEO OF THE YEAR respectively.
His music is a unique blend of Afrobeat and high-life music combined together as “SEKESE”, and it is sure to get your groove on. His lyrics are introspective and thought-provoking, and his voice is simply soulful.
