Elmina Polyclinic plays a major role in health care delivery in Komenda Edina Eguafo Abrem municipality and not just Elmina .
Often , patients are refereed to Elmina Polyclinic from Clinics, CHPS compound and other health facilities within the municipality and outside the municipality for health care services.

I still believe and maintain my stand Elmina Polyclinic and Kissi health center must be upgraded to a fully fledge hospitals equipped with a facility such as accidents and emergency center because of the growing population in and around Elmina and the nature of Elmina – Takoradi road and especially the Dompoase stretch that continues to claim lives .
Government cannot do it all hence we must take initiatives to assist . The Office of KEEA MP over the years has taken up initiatives by assisting constituents in the various health training institutions to be trained and get posted to the municipality to work. This includes those sponsored to pursue medicine , physician assistant studies, optometry, nursing and other allied health programmes in various tertiary educational institutions. My Office has assisted most health professionals to get posted to the municipality to assist in delivering quality health care . My Office continues to assist most health facilities in the municipality including construction of male and female ward at Komenda health center , renovation of Kissi maternity block , facelift of Kokwado health facility , ongoing renovation of Antsembua CHPS compound, support the construction of maternity block at Abayee CHPS compound, reroofing of Atonkwa CHPS compound , supports the construction of CHPS compound at Aburansa , Abrobiano , Dwabo and other areas .
The reasons why I spent more time talking about other health facilities outside Elmina Polyclinic is the role they play in complimenting the health care delivery services at Elmina Polyclinic ; without them Elmina Polyclinic May not function properly and may be over burdened.
My Office renovated the entire maternity block at Elmina Polyclinic , donated hospital beds to the male and female wards and children beds to the mother and baby units , refrigerator for storage of essential medical supplies and other numerous supports . The health directorate vehicle meant for supervision and monitoring of health facilities in the municipality became unmotorable due to a fatal accident . My Office has taken up steps to repair and make it available to the directorate for proper supervision and monitoring
My Office is ever ready to assist Elmina Polyclinic construct the accident and emergency center in cooperation with other stakeholders it Shall be done! …………………………………………………
